2 years ago my life changed..
I woke up on October 8th, 2024 and I didn’t have a dime in my pocket.
I had an appointment to go look at a place to rent for the County-Courier.
Before I left, I kept praying telling the Lord that even if it worked out that I would need internet.
Up until that point, I wasn’t sure if this was 100% what God called me to do.
I left and told the Lord that if He wanted me to do this then He would work it out cause I didn’t have the means.
I went to talk to Jeff Moore about this place for rent in the picture.
Because of his kindness, I left that day with the key in my hand.
The County-Courier was officially happening that day.
This was the day I knew 100% no doubt in my mind this is what He wanted me to do.
I was just sitting there taking it all in and I had that key gripped in my hand so tight. All I could do was thank the Lord and cry because my dream and my calling was actually happening.
I didn’t have the key 15 minutes and in walked Jason Couch.
For those who don’t know Jason, he is with spectrum.
He walked in and asked me if I needed internet 😂
Now to remind you, I didn’t have a dime to my name!
He signed me up and the way it worked out I didn’t have to pay anything.
My life changed in the blink of an eye.
I thank you all for everything!!
Thank you for every encouraging word, every compliment, all of the love and all of the friendship you all have given me the past 2 years!
Lord, I thank you for giving me a purpose instead of a paycheck. I thank you for never leaving me or forsaking me. I thank you that every time my back is against the wall that you move the wall, for every time I’m up against the ropes I can tag You in to take over the fight, and that through it all this business belongs to You.
I wanted the County-Courier to be a place Where Community Comes Together.
I love this community we have formed together.
Because of Him and because of you all my life has meaning.
I love you all!
“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24 (KJV)
Two years ago, I learned that when God calls you to something, you don't have to know how it's going to happen. You just have to trust the One who called you.
